Valentine…..client quilt

I have been steadily quilting for clients and have another gorgeous quilt I want to share with you. This one was assembled by a friend of mine, but the blocks were made by a group of friends of hers. She told me she wants to hang this in her home for Valentines day. I personally thought it was very striking and loved that she wanted custom quilting done on it.
I did feathered borders with my favorite “obsidian” King Tut thread. The sashing was done in black with a free motion continuous curve heart design. Each block was enhanced with individual design to fit each one with a “raspberry” colored thread. It was a ton of fun to do!
