The Eagle’s Dinner

This is the latest client quilt I did. It was pieced by Cindy Asprey. She wanted a forest of trees in the background and a fish in the talons of the eagle….and of course, feathers in the border. I also thread painted the eagle by adding detail to the feathers and a “eagle” eye for him to find his dinner! Unfortunately, some of these details are hard to see in the pictures. Much fun to quilt.

  1. Cindy & Jo:
The eagle looks LIVE! A beautiful quilt and a great job of long-arming artistry. Good collaboration.

  2. Thank you, Pete!
