Latest drawings

I’ve done some drawings to keep me sane. It really relaxes me and I feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish one. Two of my latest I have posted here. One is on perspective in which I did not use a straight edge or a ruler to measure anything…..all done by sight!….. and then I did a colored pencil one on a simple apple to get some practice on layering colors to get the finished drawing. I really like doing that. The apple was an exercise that I did from a book titled “Creating Textures in Colored Pencil” by Gary Greene. Great book to learn how to use colored pencils. I am now using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and love them!

  1. I’m still struggling with perspective and would’ve need to fill a sketch book to relax after doing that, yours is wonderful.
The colored apple is fantastic Jo! You should be so proud of yourself, what a huge accomplishment. Thanks for posting.
