LaConner Quiltfest

I attended the LaConner quiltfest this past weekend and it was wonderful. They had over 300 quilts displayed and the quality of work was amazing. It was their “Blue Ribbon” theme. They collected quilts from all over that had won awards. So inspirational. Two of my personal quilts were among them and a group quilt from a small group I belong to called “The Grateful Threads”.  What an honor to have my quilts displayed amongst the best.

My friend Jan and I also hit some of the quilt shops on our way that were participating in the 91 mile yard sale. That was quite an event with great sales … and of course,  I spent more than I intended….but you can never have too much fabric   (can you?)…..

Happy Quilting!
